Fighting Prostate Cancer continued its vital community outreach by partnering once again with the Leicestershire Freemasons for a successful clinic on 26th April 2025. This collaborative event provided men with free, confidential prostate cancer screenings in a welcoming, non-clinical environment, helping to break down barriers to early detection. The clinic forms part of a wider campaign to raise awareness and encourage men-especially those over 50 or at higher risk-to take proactive steps for their health.
The partnership with the Freemasons reflects the charity’s commitment to reaching diverse communities and making health services more accessible. Previous collaborations have demonstrated the power of community-led initiatives in increasing awareness and early diagnosis rates15. With prostate cancer now the most common cancer in men in the UK, events like these are crucial in saving lives through early intervention. Fighting Prostate Cancer thanks the Leicestershire Freemasons and all volunteers for their ongoing support in this essential work
