We are finally back again. COVID has taken its toll as we had to postpone our screening sessions for nearly 3 years. When we first started this programme, it was with the wonderful support of Burton Albion FC. After COVID, we are again beginning the programme at the club.
In this our 37th clinic, we have seen over 2800 men and diagnosed 84 cancers. We are now getting more people wanting to attend the screening and anecdotally people are better informed about prostate cancer than they were when we started over 5 years ago. We look forward to continue to carry out the screenings.
