It was wonderful to talk about prostate cancer at the Mind, Body & Soul Health & Wellbeing Fair at Oshwal Centre on Sunday, 11 June 2023.
More than one thousand people attended the event, including local dignitaries. There were seven zones focused on topics such as gut health & neurodiversity, outdoor treks, screening for falls & ear assessments, therapies such as reiki, acupressure & terahertz healing, information stalls to raise awareness on diabetes, low potassium diet, prostate cancer, emotional well-being, DKMS, South Asian Biobank, organ donation, a health MOT roadshow & also the Bhakti zone.
Local dignitaries included the Mayor of Welwyn Hatfield, Mr Pankitbhai Shah, Mayor of Harrow, Ranji Chauhan, Councillor of Brent Anjna Patel & representatives from ISKCON & SCVP.
The event brought together over 200 facilitators, speakers, exhibitors and volunteers under one roof with a motto to help our community.
